Can property in Bangalore be registered in any sub-registrar?

No

A property cannot be registered in any sub-registrar office in Bangalore.

A property should be registered within a district Registrar. Bangalore Urban had 5 district registrar, they are as follows,

1. District Registrar Office, Rajajinagar
2. District Registrar Office, Gandhinagar
3. District Registrar Office, Jayanagar
4. District Registrar Office, Shivajinagar
5. District Registrar Office, Basavanagudi

Each district registrar has up to 10 sub-registrar offices at different locations within the district registrar

To find your sub-register office, 1st locate your district registrar, under district registrar, you can register the property at any sub-register office.

Below is the list of sub-registrar offices under each district registrar.

• District Registrar Office, Rajajinagar

• District Registrar Office, Gandhinagar

• District Registrar Office, Jayanagar

• District Registrar Office, Shivajinagar

• District Registrar Office, Basavanagudi

The other simple way to locate your sub-registrar office, follow the below step by step procedure.

Step 1: Log in to Kaveri Online service https://kaverionline.karnataka.gov.in/Home/Home#id_0

Step 2: Click on “Locate SRO’s”. Refer to the below image in the circle for your reference

Step 3: Select the District from the drop down list. Refer to the below image in the circle for your reference. (I selected Bangalore urban from drop-down list. FYI)

Step 4: For example, I want to buy a flat in Brigade gateway apartment which is located in Dr. Rajkumar Road, Malleshwaram in Bangalore.

So in “Road Name”, I type the apartment name as “Brigade Gateway”. Refer to the below image in the circle for your reference

Step 5: Click the button “Search” at the bottom of the page

A list of sub-registrar offices pop up. You can register your property at any of the listed sub-registrar offices. Refer to the below image for the list of sub-registrar offices where I can register my flat in Bangalore
