Just the photocopy of seller's khata suffice to apply for khata transfer. Orginal khata is not required.
Scan copy of following documents require to apply for khata transfer
- Sale deed (If registered through GPA/POA/SPA, attach a copy at the last page of sale deed)
- Current financial year tax paid receipt
- Latest Encumbrance certificate (EC)
- Previous owner khata (If resale property)
- Occupation certificate
- Aadhar
