Kindly note that, below are the categories exempted from subscription under this insurance scheme:
- Investors (Business owners)
- Temporary/ Contractual Workers (working on temporary work permits)
- Juveniles (under the age of 18 years)
- Pensioners & retirees
- Domestic Workers
Kindly note that if you are one of the below categories, the ILOE is not mandatory for you:
- Investors (owners of companies they work at)
- Domestic helpers
- Temporary-contract workers
- Juveniles under the age of 18
- UAE Locals who have fulfilled the conditions for referral to retirement or Retirees who are entitled to a pension and joined a new job
