How can I find the registration details of a land in Karnataka?

Registration details are in following documents

• Witten at top of sale deed

• Printed in Encumbrance Certificate

• At the time of property registration, sub-registrar hand writes the registration details at top of sale deed. We encircled the handwritten registration details in below sale deed for your reference

Registration details printed in column 9 of Encumbrance certificate. We encircled the registration details in below encumbrance certificate for your reference.

For Example: The property registration details looks like KRI-1–0455X–2021–22.

The first three alphabet in registration details represents the name of sub-registrar office, followed by book number, document number and year of registration

In the above example,

• KRI - means Krishnarajapuram sub-registrar office in Bangalore. Like every sub-registrar office have short name and it is part of registration details

• 1 -Property could be stored in book 1, 2 ,3 or 4. In my above example, the property details stored in book 1 so it shows as 1

• 0455X - The five-digit number is the document number. This is the registration number of property

• 2021–22 - is the year of registration.

We can extract the sale deed online. we need registration details to extract the sale deed online.

If you don’t have the registration details, extract the encumbrance certificate by using seller or buyer name, we can track the registration details through encumbrance certificate.
