• The applicant must be an Indian citizen.

• The applicant must be of 18 years of age.

How to register for the Voter ID Card?

Follow the below steps to register for the Voter ID Card.

• Visit the Voter Service Portal.

• Click on ‘Sign Up’.

• Enter your mobile number and fill the captcha.

• Fill your name and make a password.

• An OTP will be sent to your mobile number. 

• Enter the OTP. 

• Now, login using your mobile number and password. 

• An OTP will be sent to your number. 

• Enter the OTP and login.

How to Apply Online for a Voter ID Card?

Follow the below steps to apply online for a voter ID Card.

• Visit the  Voter Service Portal.

• Login to your account using your mobile number and password.

• Click on ‘Fill Form 6’- New registration for general electors.

• Fill details about State, District and Assembly/Parliamentary Constituency. Click ‘Next’.

• Enter your personal details, relatives details, contact details, aadhar and gender.

• Enter your Date of Birth and attach any document for proof.

• Enter your Address and attach any document for proof.

• In case of disability, enter the details and upload the ‘disability certificate’.

• Enter the details of the family member already included in the electoral roll and enter their EPIC number. 

• Fill the ‘Declaration’ form and enter the captcha. 

• Click on Preview and Submit. 

• A reference number will be sent to your mobile number.

How to Track Status of a Voter ID Card?

Follow the below steps to track the status of a voter ID Card.

• Visit the Voter Service Portal.

• Click on ‘Track Application Status’.

• Enter your ‘Reference Number’ and select your state.

• Click on ‘Submit’.
