If there is an adverse action (like rejection/refusal of application or impounding/revocation of the passport) taken by a passport office against your passport/application, you can file an appeal by logging in the PSP portal, and then selecting 'Log appeal' from the home page.

Choose the passport application you wish to file appeal against, and then click "Log Appeal". Enter the personal details (like File Number, Date of Birth, Email ID, Mobile Number, and Address for Correspondence), appeal description and click 'Submit'.

On submission, an appeal number is generated.

Post this, you are required to makes the online payment of appeal fee of Rs. 25/-. Once the payment has been made successfully, you can upload the requisite documents. This completes the online appeal filling process.
