Check IRS Transcripts
You'll need to dry up an account and verify with ID.me if you don't already have an account.
There's also a link on that page to request some transcripts by mail - IRS will mail transcripts to the address used on the tax return. You probably just need the Account transcript to check the status.
You can also call IRS to get transcripts mailed to you or make an appointment to get transcripts in person. If you do this you can just ask what's going on.
