The Joint owners should execute an affidavit to represent an applicant for Khata application.
For example: Husband and wife owns a property jointly. Both have to declare an affidavit that one among joint owners represent for khata application.

Follow the below steps to make an affidavit for joint khata transfer:
Step 1: Prepare a draft in word format.
Step 2: Buy Rs. 20 non-judicial e-stamp paper from court, sub-registrar, co-operative bank or independent stamp vendor near you.
Step 3: Print the draft on non-judicial e-stamp paper
Step 4: Meet the notary public near you.
Carry the following documents to notary
- Printer affidavit
- Identification proof ( preferably aadhar or passport)
Step 5: Notary reads the affidavit and cross verify ID proofs

Notary seal & sign the affidavit and notary make an entry in notary book
