Below is the step-by-step procedure to make an affidavit for a duplicate mark sheet / Degree certificate.
Step 1: Prepare the draft in word format. A Draft looks like below image.
Step 2: Buy Rs. 20 non-judicial e-stamp paper from co-operative bank, court or sub-registrar near you.
A non-judicial e-stamp paper looks like below image, in the below image, we paid the stamp duty of Rs. 100 (for affidavit, we can pay stamp duty Rs. 20 or more than Rs. 20 but not less than Rs. 20).
Step 3: Print the draft on non-judicial e-stamp paper.
Step 4: Carry the printed affidavit and ID proof to notary public near you.
A notary public reads the affidavit and cross verity ID proof.
You sign the affidavit in-front of notary, notary seal and signs the affidavit.
