Procedure involved to get this service Filling application for this service alongwith relevant documents indicated, at a counter in Public Relations Officer in BDA Head office, Kumara park west, Chowdaiah Road, Bangalore, and obtain an acknowledgement.The submitted application will be processed in the town planning section and the service will be delivered to the applicant from that section.
Who are eligible to get this service Owners of sites who have got sites in BDA approved layouts.

1 . An application for site division or amalgamation is to be submitted along with the documents indicated herein.

2 . Address proof (aadhar card/voter id/other)

3 . Sale deed /gift deed or other documents related to ownership

4 . Upto date EC (minimum 5 years)

5 . Possession certificate(BDA allotted site)

6 . Tax paid receipts

7 . Site release letter (BDA approved private layout)

8 . Copy of latest tax paid receipt

9 . Copy of approved layout plan

10 . Site division or amalgamation plan

Applications for this service will be received at the office of the joint director of town planning by a designated official with due acknowledgement to the applicant.

The joint director, who is the designated officer for this service, will assign the work to town planner for further processing.

The town planner will verify and scrutinise the application and places before the Dy.Director,(TP) for seeking allotment or relinquishing information of the sites either from allotment dept or concerned zonal executive engineer.

If the site is allotted by BDA then allotment information is sought from allotment section. If the site is in BDA appd pvt layout the relinquishing/release information is sought from concerned zonal EE

In case of BDA allotted site, the allotment dept will send the allotment information of the intended site/s to the dy. Director of town planning for further processing.

If the site is in BDA approved PVT layout, the concerned zonal executive engineer will send the relinquishing information of the site/s the dy. Director of town planning for further processing.

The dy. Director after receiving information from allotment dept/zonal executive engineer, will order to prepare a note containing compliance of zonal regulations pertaining to the site, to be placed before the town planner member for his approval.

The town planner will approve the note for amalgamation/sub division of the intended sites and returns the application to Dy.Director.

The town planner will prepare an endorsement indicating the amount of requisite fee for the service and issues it to the applicant for payment of the fee.

The applicant after receiving the endorsement will have to pay the prescribed fee for the service at any one of the designated banks and produce the bank challan to the town planner for having paid the fee.

The town planner after receiving the proof from the applicant for having paid the requisite fee, will send the application to the finance department for verification of payment in the books of BDA.

After receiving the payment verification from the finance department, the town planning member will approve the amalgamation/subdivision of intended sites and issues an order to that effect.
