If you have received a traffic violation challan, you can pay or remit the penalty/fine amount in any one of the following ways.
-
You can pay the e-challan amount in cash through any prosecuting officer of Delhi Traffic Police having an e-challan machine.
-
You or your driver can visit the Delhi Traffic Police Headquarters (HQ), Dev Prakash Shastri Marg, Pusa, New Delhi-110012 with relevant documents (The document information should include the name, address and driving licence number of the person who was driving). The Police HQ is open Monday to Friday from 09.30 am to 05.00 pm and on Saturday, it is open from 09.30 am to 01 pm only.

You can pay the e-challan amount through Cheque/Demand Draft (DD)/Pay order by post or courier, at DCP/Traffic (HQs) office, Delhi Traffic Police Headquarters, Dev Prakash Shastri Marg, Pusa, New Delhi-110012. In this case, you need to pay through an Account-Payee Cheque/ Pay Order/ DD be drawn in favour of DCP/TRAFFIC(HQs).
-
You can also make payment through Money Order through Post Office/Postman.
-
A money order is a printed document that can be used for making payment. It is a safer way of making payments by mail (via post office). When you place the order by filling up the form, you get a receipt, for the amount paid, from the post office through which you can track whether the consignment has been received.
In the case of offline mode, make sure that the notice number is mentioned at the reverse side of Cheque/DD/Pay order/ Account-Payee cheque and in the Money Order form.
