As you are a domicile of Maharashtra, you need to apply for Caste Certificate from Maharashtra.

You can apply for OBC certificate for centrally Governed Colleges like IIT,NIT,NRTI,IIIT provided that Maharashtra Government has accepted your caste as OBC.
