I have applied for a passport. Now, the status is showing that the passport application is on hold at RPO due to data modification required. It advises visiting RPO only if an email or letter is received. However, I haven't received any email yet. What to do?

Wait for email or letter. 

If you are not receiving email or letter after 15 days then visit RPO office and show your status, they'll help you.
