I have taken NOC from Bangalore to Gujarat RTO for my commercial vehicle. In the transit, the vehicle met with an accident and now the vehicle is ready after three months. By the time, the road tax got expired. Can I move the vehicle on road without renewing the road tax?

In fact there in no expiry date defined in Motor vehicles Act or rules. A time period is prescribed to submit the NOC for Registration Mark assignment process. Hence usually the validity is considered as 12 months for applying without penalty. You can still ply on this NOC. And submit the same at your RT office with an affidavit of what happened to your vehicle.
