When you generate the K2 Challan, you can choose the payment mode as cash from dropdown list. Refer to the below image in circle.

Select the preferred back from dropdown list, you can pay by cash only in the preferred bank selected by you in dropdown list.  Below are listed banks in dropdown.  

• Canara Bank
• Central Bank of India
• State bank of India
• Union Bank of India

Once the K2 challan is generated, carry the K2 challan and cash to your preferred bank

Bank officials collect the cash and seal the acknowledgement on your K2 challan. It’s very important to retain the K2 challan with bank acknowledgement as proof of payment made. 

Note:

• It will take at least 2-3 business days for your payment to be realizes, it means that you may have to wait for 2-3 business days before you submit challan to concerned authority

For example : If you paid stamp duty for property transaction, sub-registrar will accept your challan once after the payment is realized by government. It may take 2-3 business days for payment to be realized by government if you pay by cash. 

You can check the payment status on K2 website, refer to the below image.

• In case if you lost the K2 challan acknowledged by bank, you can down the new copy from K2 website by using search option. Refer to the below image in circle.

• K2 challan is valid for 7 days from the day of challan generation, so complete the payment within 7 days from the day of challan generation.

• K2 challan is valid for 90 days once the payment is made. You can submit the K2 challan to concerned authority within 90 days from the day of payment.
