If I were to change my surname after graduation, Do I need to make changes in my 10th,12th documents as well?

It is recommended to change your name in all the documents. You would need to provide affidavits to the respective authorities, usually notarised by a gazetted officer. If you have not made the changes,you can also keep a copy of gazette with all the future applications for government exams to prove that your name is changed.
