If the adult name is not available in the BPL, the beneficiary will not get the benefit entitled to “Eligible Patient”. He can get 30% of the package rate as a “General Patient” if he has an APL card or does not have a card for complex secondary and Tertiary care.
For Primary and Secondary care they can pay the user charges of the PHI and avail services. For children, the BPL/APL card of the parents can be used.
If Child name is not available in BPL cards then the following documents can be submitted:
- Parent aadhar + BPL/APL card
- Parent aadhar +BPL/APL card + child aadhar or birth certificate
For Newborns, Parent aadhar +BPL/APL card with parent self-declaration can be provided.
