My father has ksfe Chitty in trivandrum . He passed away recently. The chit amount has not been paid for last 1-2 months as he was hospitalized and bedridden. Can I pay the missed installments and continue the chits with his name . Or should I close the chits ? I also saw an insurance type claim for pravasi chits incase of deceased but my fathers chits is regular one not pravasi chit category. What to do?

Please contact the KSFE branch where your father had joined chitty. It is to be known that whether the chitty is prized or not. If the chitty is non prized it can be assigned to the nominee given in the chitty variyola.
