No doubt, Private insurers are the best. They are more customer centric.
Better choose from companies with high claim settlement ratio, atleast 90+ and paying potential. HDFC ERGO, Care Health Insurance (previous Religare) etc are few examples.
They even have plans with no room rent capping, no Sublimits, no copayments, complete coverage of consumables and even the patient food is covered. So effectively zero deduction in case of claims, so zero out of pocket payments.
