What are the differences between Canada PR and Canada citizenship?

You need to be PR in Canada for at least 3 years out of 5 to be Canadian citizen.  PRs do not get canadian passport.

PR is permanent residency, it allow you to stay and work in Canada as long you wish. You canโ€™t not vote because PR is not citizenship. If you stay in Canada 3 years on a period of 5 years you are eligible to the citizenship.
