What is considered as my income for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, net pay or gross pay?

For the purpose of calculation of income, the income of every family member of the household as defined above will be taken into consideration. For this, the household can submit any proof of income such as salary slip, form 16 tax return, etc. The guidelines are so flexible that it even allows a self-declaration of income by the household as proof of income level.

However, as far as bank are concerned they are free to decide their own appraisal mechanism for assessing the loan eligibility and can ask for any document as per their rules and regulation.
