How to apply for Free Sale Certificate of Consumer Products in Dubai?

This service enables you to obtain a No Objection Certificate of Free Sale for consumer products registered in Dubai Municipality (registration still valid) and manufactured exclusively in factories holding a valid industrial license with a relevant activity in Dubai only.

Documents Required

• Copy of a relevant valid Good Manufacturing Practice Certificate (GMP), issued by an authorized entity.

How to apply for Free Sale Certificate of Consumer Products in Dubai?

• Apply for the service by filling the application through Montaji system.

• Select the registered products only and upload the required documents.

• Pay the due fees.

• Check Dubai Municipality's reply (Approved/Rejected/To be Amended or Completed) through your company's account on Montaji to fulfil the requirements, if any.

• Receive the certificate signed and stamped through your company's account on Montaji system, in case of approval.

Fees Required

• AED 100
• Knowledge and Innovation fee: AED 20.

Time Required

• 3 working days from the application completion date

Terms and Conditions

• This certificate is granted exclusively to products manufactured in Dubai by manufacturers holding a valid industrial license with a relevant activity.

• The consumer products manufacturers must have a valid and relevant GMP Certificate issued from authorized entities.

• This certificate is valid for (1) year only from the date of its issuance.

• You can select only one brand with an undetermined number of sub-products or product variations.

• You must select the country of export upon filling each application.

• The application is returned Only once to complete requested remarks

Dubai Municipality reserves the right to reject or cancel the application during the review and assessment process if it didn't fulfil the service's requirements:

• The application is rejected in case the incomplete application was resubmitted without updating the required information or submitting the missing requested documents.

• Automatic cancellation, in case the incomplete application was not resubmitted within 45 days from its reversal date

• Automatic cancellation, in case payment for the submitted application was not done within 45 days from the submission date.

• Electronic applications are not reviewed unless payment of the due fees is done.
