How to apply for Right-Of-Way Coordinates and Verification of Survey Points in Dubai?

This service enables you to obtain a DGN file of the Right of Way (ROW) co-ordinates for a specific project area, then a certificate verifying the ROW survey points after fixing them onsite.

Documents Required

1. Letter of assignment from the building consultants and contractors.

2. Project site plan. 

How to apply for Right-Of-Way Coordinates and Verification of Survey Points in Dubai?

• Login to Dubai Municipality website.

• Apply for the service.

• Check Dubai Municipality's reply through the website (Approved/Rejected) within 1 working day from the submission date.

• Pay the due fees.

• Receive the digital plan within 1 working day.

• Receive the certificate through Dubai Municipality website 1 day after the onsite audit of the survey points.

Fees Required

Verification of ROW survey points:

• AED 25/survey point

ROW coordinates:

• Marking the required survey points or areas and adding them to the map:

  • AED 1,000 for every 1/2 sqkm of the planning area

  • AED 3,500 for the entire planning area.

• Knowledge and Innovation Fees: AED 20

• 3 working days

Terms and Conditions

• The verification of the ROW survey points is provided by Dubai Municipality Survey Department.

• The verification of the ROW survey points can only be requested by the contractors of service roads or public facilities working in the water and irrigation fields and other related fields in Dubai.

• When you receive the ROW coordinates, you have to fix the survey points on the ROW of the project in question, then apply for the verification of the service roads demarcation from the Survey Information and Maps Section.

• ROW co-ordinates can only be obtained in a digital format (DGN File).
