How to apply for Self-Decor Permit in Dubai?

This service enables you to obtain a self-permit of decoration in building units exceeding 100 sqm and that include suspended ceilings, flooring, shelves, and internal partitions (non-structural).

How to request for Self-Decor Permit in Dubai?

Login to Dubai Building Permits System - Dubai BPS.
Apply for the service and upload the required documents.
Pay the due fees.
Receive the permit through Dubai Municipality's website.

Instant.

Fees Required

50 50 fils per square foot with a minimum of AED 200 and a maximum of AED 1,000
Knowledge and Innovation Fees: AED 20.

Terms & Conditions

Units under 100 sqm or located in shopping centres (regardless of unit area) do not require a self-decor permit.
Tenants must obtain landlords approval.
This license does not enable you to carry out any construction works.
