How to apply to Test Environmental Samples in Dubai?

This service enables you to test environmental samples such as, groundwater, sea marina water, lake water, and water channels and open beach ,swimming pool, irrigation water, industrial effluent water, hotel and dental clinic water, sediment samples, soil, Nature reserves, hazardous waste and others, In additional bottled and unbottled drinking water samples, to ensure their compliance with the specifications and International standard which contributes to strengthening the environmental control in Dubai.

How to apply to Test Environmental Samples in Dubai?

  • Apply for the service through the available channels by filling the online application form.

  • Deliver the samples to be tested to Dubai Municipality, Dubai Central Laboratory Department – Customer Happiness Center - ground floor – Building D2-  Al Karama - Zabeel Road.

  • Pay the due fees.

  • Receive the test report results through Dubai Municipality website and email.

Terms and Conditions

  • Special sterile sampling containers are required for microbiological tests, heavy metals tests, grease, oil and petrol hydrocarbon tests, and pesticides residues tests.( You can get sterile sampling containers at the Customer Happiness Center at Dubai Central Laboratory).

  •  For Test Environmental Samples the customer should pay the fees while submit the sample to the lab, or the  request will be reject as some test should be apply in the same day of the lab receive the sample

  • Quantities of water requested for testing and sampling methods vary according to the type of water to be tested.

  •  The time required to issue the test results report varies according to the test type, and according to the Business Process Model No. DM-DCLD-SP-FE-0001.

  •  The service application is automatically cancelled 10 days after the application submission if the due fees were not paid, knowing that the laboratory is not bound to return the sample.

  • The highest time duration mentioned on the application form will be considered as the duration to obtain test results.

  • The service completion time (7 working days ) is calculated after the payment date or according to the period specified in the payment invoice.

  •  Drinking water samples must be in good physical state when delivered to the laboratory and compliant with the requirements of food label specifications.

  •  The sample size must match the size specified in the Procedure Form No. DM-DCLD-SP-FE -0005.

  •  If the customer finds any mistakes in the test report then he/she should notify the lab within 15 working days.

  • In case the laboratory is unable to meet the given time due to instrument breakdown or unavoidable reasons, the customer have two options either to wait until the problem is resolved or request for a refund.
