How to apply to Test Gemstones and Precious Metals in Dubai?

• Apply for service through the available channels.

• Deliver the samples personally or by shipping companies that are contracted by customer to be tested to Dubai Central Laboratory (DCL) Department, Customers Happiness Centre, Ground Floor, D2 Building, Al Karama (Zabeel Road), and take it back in the same way, With proof of identity (Valid ID Card or Passport).

• Pay the due fees.

• Check Dubai Municipality's reply (Approved/Rejected) through Dubai Municipality website and Email.

• Receive the test results report through Dubai Municipality website and Email.

• Receive the sample from the Customers Happiness Centre, Ground Floor, D2 Building, Al Karama (Zabeel Road). With proof of identity (Valid ID Card or Passport).

Fees Required

• Test Fee: (Gemstone and Precious Metal Testing Service Fees )See attachment:

• Knowledge and Innovation Fees: AED 20 (per receipt voucher for samples testing).

Please note that you must pay the test fees before the issuance of the test results and quality certificates.
