How to apply to Test Samples of Construction Materials in Dubai?

• Login to Dubai Municipality website.

• Submit the test samples to Dubai Municipality Centre - Dubai Central Laboratory Department, Infrastructure And Building Materials Laboratories Section, Al Karamah (Zabeel Road) - MAKANI number 2959992848, within 3 working days from submission date (according to the attachments).

• Pay the due fees.

• Receive the test results report through Dubai Municipality website and Email.

What type of tests can be conducted on dyes, paints and lubricating oils?

• Dyes:

  • Inductive Coupled Plasma (ICP) test for heavy metal content

  • Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) using the GC technique

  • Solar Reflectance Index (SRI)

  • Light Reflectance Value (LRV)

  • Formaldehyde Testing.

• Lubricating oils, paints and road marking paints:

  • Physical and chemical tests.

What are the green building materials and products that can be tested in the laboratory?

• All types of thermal insulation materials are tested:

  • Damp proofing materials

  • Dyes

  • Gypsum boards and gypsum bricks

  • Geotextiles

  • Thermal insulation bricks

  • Lightweight concrete pavers and paving bricks
