This service enables you to obtain a health certificate for consumer products registered in Dubai Municipality for export, which includes; cosmetics, personal care products, fragrances, health supplements, detergents, biocides and food contact materials.
Documents Required

Airway bill/Bill of lading.

Shipment Contents List.

Copy of a valid and relevant Good Manufacturing Practice certificate (GMP) issued for the manufacturer by a certified body in the UAE for all locally manufactured consumer products.

Certified laboratory test report where the validity of the report should not exceed one year from the issue date (for food contact materials).

A valid certificate of conformity issued by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology. (For unregistered food contact material).
How to apply for a Health Certificate to Export Consumer Products in Dubai?

Apply for the service by filling the application through DM Website.

Select the registered products and upload the required documents.

Pay the fees.

Receive the certificate through your company's account on DM Website.

Export Certificate: AED 200 (per certificate)

Export to GCC Certificate: AED 100 (per certificate)

Knowledge and Innovation fees: AED 20.
Time Required
- 3 working days from the application completion date

The system cancels the application automatically, In case the payment for the certificate fees did not take place within 45 days from the application initial approval date.

The health certificate is valid only for one consignment and one destination.

However, the food contact materials registration certificate is issued for the importation and distribution of food contact materials in the local market and is valid for two years.
