How to apply for Vehicles Import Certificate in Dubai?

This service enables you to issue an import plate number for imported vehicles from Jebel Ali port.

Eligibility Criteria

Individual customers, citizens and residents, and companies are eligible to apply for this service.

Documents Required

For individuals

1. Copy of the Vehicle Clearance Certificate (VCC)
2. Inspection to verify the vehicle's information
3. Insurance certificate valid for 3 days

For companies

1. Official letter in Arabic from the company
2. Endorsement of signature and authorisation letter.

How to apply for Vehicles Import Certificate in Dubai?

• The customer presents the required documents at the service centre.
• The customer settles the required fees.
• The customer receives the plates from the centre and the electronic certificate through SMS and e-mail.

Fees Required

• 130 AED
• +20 AED Knowledge and Innovation fees.

Time Required

• 5 minutes.

Validity

2 days.

• The customer or his legal representative must be present in person.
• The customer must pay all traffic fines before receiving this service.
