How to request to change FIC Location, Storm water Point or Adjust Inspection Chambers Levels in Dubai?

This service enables you to change the location of the FIC or rainwater point according to Dubai Municipality approved standards, and to adjust the levels of the inspection chambers located in the external areas of the buildings.

• Additional documents for Manhole Location Image or Drawing of the Drainage Connection requested or Undertaking Letter from the Landowner (Optional).

How to request to change FIC Location, Storm water Point or Adjust Inspection Chambers Levels in Dubai?

• Login to Dubai Municipality website.

• Apply for the service.

• Meet Dubai Municipality's employee at the location that requires modification.

• Pay the due fees, if any.

• Receive a notification of the application completion and closure through the website.

Time Required

• Change the location of the of the FIC, rainwater point, or converting wastewater drainage: 30 working days

• Modification of inspection chamber levels: 20 working days.

Fees Required to change FIC Location, Storm water Point or Adjust Inspection Chambers Levels in Dubai

• Contract values of Dubai Municipality contracts + 25% supervision fees

• Knowledge and Innovation Fees: AED 20.

Terms & Conditions

• It is mandatory to apply to change the location of the FIC, rainwater point or to adjust the inspection chambers levels affected by the project, whenever needed.

• Dubai Municipality is responsible for changing broken manhole covers and adjusting the levels of high or low inspection chambers, if located outside the plot boundaries or on the right of way, subject that it does not conform to the approved levels during the construction stage.

• You must contact the Sewerage and Recycled Water Network Department if the manhole cover was broken.
