The objective of Chief Ministers Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme (CMCHIS) is to provide cashless and paperless treatment in hospitals through health insurance coverage up to 5 lakh rupees per family per year thus reducing the financial burden of poor and vulnerable groups arising out of hospitalization episodes and ensure their access to quality health care services.
Documents Required for Chief Ministers Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme in Tamil Nadu
The Family head/member should carry the following documents.

Original Ration Card plus photocopy

Aadhaar of all members to be included under the card

Original income certificate

Self-declaration of the head of the concerned family.
