How to Register Death in Bihar?

The ‘Issuance of Birth Certificate’ is available at block level public service centers’. 

For registering the death, all the information in detailed proforma, in a readable and clear manner has to be furnished.

At the time of death, the name of the deceased is fixed. Therefore, the nickname should be determined in the day's transactions. Once the name of the deceased is written, it cannot be modified in any nature, nor can any other (surname) name be attached to it.

  • Registration of death after 21 days but within 30 days of death- Rs. 2
