How to get Dependent Certificate in Itanagar?

Dependent certificate is a certificate that shows that one is a dependent of someone else with whom he/she has a relationship. One may need to produce this certificate in several cases like availing family pension and other benefits.

Eligibility Criteria

Any citizen of Itanagar can apply for a Dependent Certificate.

Documents Required

The following documents are required to apply for Dependent Certificate in Itanagar.

  • Verification letter of Parents by Head of the Department, Government of Arunachal Pradesh stating the relationship (Government)

  • Parents’ ST Certificate/ Birth Certificate (Non-Government)

  • An affidavit from Local Executive Magistrate

  • Identity proof (Voter ID/PAN/Aadhaar/Passport/Driving Licence)

Apply Online for Dependent Certificate

Follow the below steps to apply online for Dependent Certificate in Itanagar. 

  • Visit Government of Arunachal Pradesh E-services portal.

  • Login into the e-services portal by entering the valid email id and password.

  • If you are a new user, then create an account by selecting the “Don't have an account? Register HERE” option.

  • Fill the required details for registering on the website.

  • After successful login, look for “Apply for services” on the left side.

  • Select “View all available services” option.

  • Select “Application for Issuing of Dependent certificate” option.

  • Fill the application details and select the “I agree” option as a declaration.

  • Enter additional details and click on “Submit”.

  • Upon submission, the applicant will receive an Application Reference Number as the confirmation of submission.

Follow the below steps to apply offline for Dependent Certificate in Itanagar. 

  • Visit the Deputy Commissioner office of your district.

  • Fill the application form.

  • Submit the required documents. 

Track Status

Follow the below steps to track the status of Dependent Certificate in Itanagar. 

  • Login to Government of Arunachal Pradesh E-services portal.

  • Click on View Status of Application.

  • Click on "Verify Your Certificate".
