Benefits of Dr. Dharmambal Ammaiyar Ninaivu Widow Remarriage Assistance Scheme

Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 15,000 is given through ECS and Rs 10,000 as National Savings Certificate along with 4 gram 22-carat gold coin for making Thirumangalyam.

There is no income ceiling and educational qualification prescribed to avail benefit under this scheme.

The degree/diploma holders are given Rs 50,000, out of which, 30,000 is given through ECS and Rs 20,000 is given as National Savings Certificate along with 4 gram 22-carat gold coin for making Thirumangalyam.

• Death Certificate of the first husband of the remarried widow.

• Certificate of Proof of the 2nd marriage of the remarried widow.

• Age Certificate of the remarried widow

• Visit Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme Department website

• Enter the Application Id/Registration number, Applicant Name, and Date of Birth.

• Verify and get the status.
