To avail the 10% reservation benefit for economically weaker sections (EWS) in Madhya Pradesh, the following criteria are established to issue the Income and Property Certificate:
Income Criteria
- The total annual income of the family should not exceed Rs. 8.00 lakhs (Eight Lakhs). This includes all sources of income, such as salary, agriculture, business, etc.
Property Criteria
Individuals will not be eligible for the scheme if:

They own more than 5 acres of land (excluding land with continuous unirrigated, barren, rocky, or forest land mentioned in the land records).

They own a residential property/flat exceeding 1200 square feet in a municipal area.

They own a residential property/flat exceeding 1500 square feet in a municipal area.

They own a residential property/flat exceeding 1800 square feet in a municipal area.
Individuals will not be eligible for the scheme (under the Central Government's EWS category) if:

They own 5 acres or more of agricultural land.

1000 square feet or more of residential flat.
-
100 square yards or more of residential land in notified municipal areas.

200 square yards or more of residential land in areas other than notified municipal areas.
