Farmer Pension Scheme - Uttarakhand

In the state of Uttarakhand, farmers above 60 years of age and landholders up to 02 hectares, who cultivate their own land and are not receiving pension from any other source, are given the benefit of "Kisan Pension Scheme" as per the following criteria.

Following are the eligibility criteria for Farmer Pension Scheme in Uttarakhand.

• Under the Farmer Pension Scheme, the above category of farmers will be allowed a pension of Rs 1200/-(Rupees one thousand only) per month.

• Eligible beneficiaries of Kisan Pension Scheme will not be given pension or grant from any source other than Kisan Pension Scheme

• To avail the benefit of Farmer Pension Scheme, such farmers will have to submit an affidavit regarding their land on stamp paper of Rs 10/-.

• Those farmers who are currently farming on their own land and from the day such farmers stop farming on their own land, the pension facility being given under this scheme will automatically stop from that day.
