Jammu Suraksha Yojana

The Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC)  launched Jammu Suraksha Yojana , on January 2019, under which affordable home security solution will be provided to the residents of Jammu City. Jammu Surakhsa Yojana is a joint Initiative of Jammu Municipal corporation and  ITI Limited to provide platform for availing subsidized security system to every resident of Jammu Division. ITI Limited is a Public Sector Undertaking under Ministry of Communication , Government of India.

Jammu Surakhsa Yojana is being launched in view of increasing incidents of thefts in shops, other business establishments and residential areas.

Benefits

In Jammu Surakhsa Yojana, Citizen can avail digital security with coverage of Personal security, Financial security and Civil security in just Rs. 500/- per month.

Subscriber need to pay Rs. 500/- per month  for 20 months plus applicable GST which is roughly Rs 16 per day to avail state of the art technology. Subscriber need to pay six month advance as security deposit plus banking and installation charges. Security Deposit will be adjusted from 14th month to 20th month installment.

In Personal Security, Subscriber will have Artificial Intelligence integrated High Definition indoor camera, High Definition outdoor camera and two set of Electro magnetic waves based wireless door sensor.

In Financial Security, Subscriber will have a Life insurance Cover of Rs.1,00,000/- ( in case of any Death)

In Civil Security, SOS Alert - Special Hotline will be launched. In case of crime or urgency, subscriber has to press SOS button and  citizen gets immediate support from Police and registered family members.

Features

Its features include high-definition indoor IP-based camera with embedded artificial intelligence technology, artificial intelligence-embedded theft alert (real time), two wireless door alarm sensor sets (AI electromagnetic waves technology). In case of any emergency, the customer can press SOS button and limited details of the subscriber will be shared with the control room and three registered contacts for help.

Application Process

Any citizen/resident of Jammu City desirous of having his/her home security solution may approach ITI Limited through Sewa Kendras to be established by ITI Limited in different wards of JMC.
