Eligibility Criteria to Get Marriage Certificate in Madhya Pradesh

• Any citizen of Madhya Pradesh who did not register their marriage after January 23, 2008.

• All marriages conducted without consideration of the religion or caste of the parties involved, whether performed informally or recognized by law, and including remarriages, are included in this. Marriages conducted according to any custom, tradition, or practice, which also includes remarriages.

• The registration of marriages that occurred before January 23, 2008, will not be done under these rules; the registration of such marriages will be done only by the Collector's office as per the previously established procedures.

Documents Required to Get a Marriage Certificate in Madhya Pradesh

• Passport size photos of groom and bride separately.

• Age Proof- Birth certificates or Mark Sheet of groom and bride.

• ID Proof of Bride and Groom

• ID Proof of the Parents of Bride and Groom

• Wedding ceremony 3 post card size photo.

• Oath letter from both of side (bride and groom) in case of delay by more than 21 days

• Add the details of 2 witnesses.

A fee of Rs 20 per certificate is charged for every duplicate copy of marriage certificate.
