2 affidavit that couple wish to marry each other willingly free from threats is required for marriage at a later stage

Note: All the above-mentioned documents should be attested by a Gazetted Officer.
Apply Offline for Marriage Certificate
Follow the below steps to apply offline for Marriage Certificate in Nagaland.

Visit the respective registrar office in whose jurisdiction the husband or wife resides.

The applicant has to approach Marriage registrars (civil registrars).

The application form can be obtained from the respective office.

Fill the Application form duly signed by both husband and wife. Submit it to the receiving authority along with the required documents and fees as advised.

The submitted application will be recorded in the registry after verification.

The applicant will be provided with the receipt for the submitted application.

The applicant will be asked to come to the premises on a scheduled date to complete the registration.
