How to get Minority caste certificate in Rajasthan?

A minority certificate is an official statement provided to the citizen by the state government confirming that the person belongs to the minority community. It is used to apply for pension service and school admission with fees concession.

Documents Required for Minority caste certificate in Rajasthan

The following documents are required for obtaining the Minority certificate in Rajasthan.

• Caste proof - Caste certificate of Father.

• Proof of Address - Any of Ration Card, Voter ID, Kirayanam, Telephone Bill, Electricity Bill, Water Bill

• An affidavit of Rs. 10.00

• Report of the concerned Patwari

• Photograph of the applicant

Apply Online for Minority caste certificate in Rajasthan

You can apply online through Rajasthan Single Sign-on (SSO) website.

• Login to Rajasthan Single Sign-on (SSO) website. Register on the website, if you have not already registered.

• Click on Services.

• Select “Avail Service”

• Enter the name of Service - "Application form for Caste Certificate -Minority"

• Enter the required details.

• Upload the required documents.

Apply through Emitra

Follow the below steps to apply through Emitra Centres.

• Visit the nearest e-Mitra, also known as Common Service Centres.

• Fill the application

• Submit the required documents.

•  e-Mitra operator will issue a receipt with the applicant number and also you will get SMS to the registered mobile number and mail to your mail-id. Progress of the application will also be updated through SMS.

Apply through Tahsildar Office

Follow the below steps to apply through the Tahsildar office.

• Visit the Tahsildar or Municipal Office.

• Fill the application

• Submit it

Follow the below steps to track the status of the application.

• Visit Rajasthan Emitra Website

• Enter the Transaction ID or Receipt Number to track the status of the application.

• Click on "Search"

Fees

There is no charge for applying for a caste certificate in the Tehsil office. However, you need to affix a court fee ticket of Rs.2 with the application form.

If you are applying through an e-Mitra local service centre, you have to pay a service charge of INR 40 for certificate processing.
