Mukhyamantri Vridhajan Pension Yojana Bihar

The government of Bihar has launched a universal old-age pension scheme called Mukhyamantri Vridhajan Pension Yojna for all citizens above 60 years of age in Bihar. Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Pension Scheme aims to make all senior citizens self-reliant and to enable them to lead a life of dignity. 

Benefits of Mukhyamantri Vridhajan Pension Yojana Bihar

• Financial assistance of Rs 400 will be provided for people in the age group of 60–79 years

• Financial assistance of Rs. 500 will be provided for those 80 years and above.

• Financial assistance will be transferred directly to the account of beneficiaries.

Eligibility Criteria

Following people are eligible for Mukhyamantri Vridhajan Pension Yojana.

• A candidate must be a permanent resident of Bihar.

• All senior citizens above the age of 60 years are eligible for Mukhyamantri Vridhajan Pension Yojana in Bihar.

• Senior Citizens from any caste, community and religion are eligible for Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Pension Yojana in Bihar.

Exemptions

• All those senior citizens who have retired from government services are NOT eligible.

Documents Required

Following documents are required to apply for Mukhyamantri Vridhajan Pension Yojana

• Aadhar Card

• Bank Account Details - Bank Name, Bank Branch, IFSC

• Passport size photo of the applicant

Online Application

Follow the below procedure to apply for Mukhyamantri Vridhajan Pension Yojana.

• Visit the Department of Social Welfare website of the Government of Bihar

• Click on “Click here to Apply Online Registration for Mukhyamantri Vriddhjan Pension Yojna"

• Fill out the application form

• Click on Validate Aaddhar.

• Once Aadhar is validated, click on proceed.

• Enter details about the person, address, Aadhaar and bank details

• Click on "Submit" to apply.

• The applicant's Beneficiary ID and name will be displayed.

• Click on "Direct Print Receipt" to take a printout of the acknowledgement for future reference.

• Enter the details about the person such as the applicant's address, Aadhaar and bank details

• Submit the application form to the nearest village or Panchayat Office

• Visit the Department of Social Welfare website of the Government of Bihar

• Click on Beneficiary Status

• Now you can search the beneficiary status using the Beneficiary ID generated earlier.
