The Dr. Muthulakshmi Reddy Ninaivu Inter-caste Marriage Assistance Scheme is being implemented by the Government of Tamil Nadu to abolish caste and community feelings based on birth and wiping out the evils of untouchability by encouraging inter-caste marriage.

Benefits of Dr. Muthulakshmi Reddy Ninaivu Inter-caste Marriage Assistance Scheme

Scheme 1: Cheque of Rs.15,000/-, NSC Bond of Rs.10,000/-, and gold coin of 8 grams.

Scheme 2: Cheque of Rs.30,000/- NSC Bond of Rs.20,000/-, and gold coin of 8 grams.

Eligibility Criteria for Dr. Muthulakshmi Reddy Ninaivu Inter-caste Marriage Assistance Scheme

Scheme 1

  • The bride should have completed 18 years and the bridegroom should have completed 21 years at the time of marriage. 

  • Should apply within 2 years from the date of marriage. 

  • No educational qualification is needed.

Scheme 2

  • The bride should have completed 18 years and the bridegroom should have completed 21 years at the time of marriage. 

  • Should apply within 2 years from the date of marriage. 

  • The bride should be a Degree or Diploma Holder from Government approved colleges.

  • 10th Marksheet

  • Degree/Diploma Marksheet and Transfer Certificate

  • Marriage Invitation

  • Marriage Registration Certificate

  • Marriage Photo

  • Age Certificate of the bride

  • Community Certificate of the bride & bridegroom\

  • Nativity Certificate of the bride and bridegroom

  • No Income limit. 

How to apply for Dr. Muthulakshmi Reddy Ninaivu Inter-caste Marriage Assistance Scheme?

  • To apply for the intercast marriage benefits applicants will have to visit the district social welfare office and have to meet with an officer.

  • In rural areas, applicants can meet with the panchayat commissioner.

  • At the time of visiting the office, you have to carry all documents.

  • The applicants can apply within the duration of two years (from the date of marriage) and the fund will be given as the subject.
