How to request for adoption of pets in Dubai?

This service enables you to adopt pets such as cats and dogs.

How to request for adoption of pets in Dubai?
- Apply for the service through the Dubai Municipality website.
- Receive a phone call from the municipality employee within 24 hours if you meet the requirements.
- Visit the Animal Welfare Office at Animal Production Sustainability Section in Al Khawaneej within 24 hours to see the selected animal.
- Pay the fees.
- Receive the animal with the vaccination card.

For Dogs:
- Vaccination: AED 150
- Registration: AED 10
- Microchip: AED 50.
For Cats:
- Vaccination: AED 120
- Registration: AED 10
- Microchip: AED 50.
Knowledge and Innovation Fees: AED 20.
Terms and Conditions
- The adoption applicant has not been violated in any case involving abuse or harm to the animal.
- Persons of both sexes are entitled to apply for adoption, provided that the applicant is at least 18 years of age.
- The applicant must apply himself to the concerned section to sign the form prepared for that purpose.
- The applicant must pay vaccination and registration fees.
- If the applicant has not obtained a previous animal from the department.

When is an animal put up for adoption if it became in Dubai Municipality's possession?

Reduce the number of stray animals by providing them with appropriate environments securing the essential requirements for animal welfare.
