Follow the below steps to request for Permanent or Temporary Connection to Sewerage or Storm Water Network in Dubai

Apply for the service.

Check Dubai Municipality's reply (Approved/Rejected) through the website, within 1 working day from the application submission date and meet Dubai Municipality employee for the site inspection.

Pay the due fees, if any.

Receive the response to the application or a notice of service completion (for under construction projects) through the website.
Time Required
Permanent or Temporary Connection to Sewerage or Storm Water Network:

Permanent connection to a wastewater network or to an additional connection point:

Site inspection to approve the connection:

1st time: Free

Re-inspection: AED 100.

Connection - Buildings and Residential Villas:

50 fils/sqft of the building area or any additional area to be built later, with a minimum of AED 1,000 and a maximum of AED 200,000

Additional connection: AED 1,000 or the cost of connection (whichever greater).

Main connection: AED 10,000

Additional connection: AED 5,000 or the cost of connection (whichever greater).

50 fils/sqft of the building area or any additional area to be built later, with a minimum of AED 1,000 and a maximum of AED 200,000

Additional connection: AED 5,000 or the cost of connection (whichever greater).

Temporary connection to sewerage network: AED 5,000 or the cost of connection (whichever greater)
Connection to storm water network: depending on the cost of connection
Knowledge and Innovation Fees: AED 20.
Terms & Conditions to request for Permanent or Temporary Connection to Sewerage or Storm Water Network in Dubai

Completion certificates are issued by Dubai Municipality Construction Control Department after completing the connection of the building to the sewerage network.

Dubai Municipality reserves the right to re-inspect the site if the conditions were not met or fulfilled, in the case of permanent connection to sewerage network or additional connection point.

The permanent connection to sewerage and storm water network is mandatory and may incur additional fees.
