How to apply for sand supply in Dubai?

This service enables you to obtain an approval to supply sand to factories and under-construction projects in Dubai, after fulfilling all required conditions.

Terms and Conditions required to apply for sand supply in Dubai

• You can inquire about the service or obtain technical support as follows:

• Once the permit issued, you will receive an SMS with the sand supply location data (transport permit number, declared quantity, contracting company name and contact number, transport company name and contact number.), to coordinate with the concerned parties from the source location.

• The sand is provided free of charge for locals  under-construction private villas if the building permit was issued by Dubai Municipality.

• The main contractor is fully responsible for supervising the sand delivery to his project's site, according to the Sand Supply Permit.

• The contractor must prepare a daily log for Dubai Municipality registering all the data related to the sand shipments to the location. The log must be available to be checked by Dubai Municipality employees at any time.

  • For contracting companies: send a general message through the general messaging system in Dubai BPS, step 1 and select Engineering supervision services (sand shifting)

  • For factories and owners: send an email to sandrequest@dm.gov.ae.

• The sand supplied to citizens' private residences as per the owner's request is free, and it is strictly forbidden for the transporting companies or construction companies to trade them or sell them to the owners against fees.

Documents required to apply for sand supply in Dubai

Applications submitted by the contractor or factory:

1. Affection plan or site plan only for free zones authorities projects or infrastructural projects.
2. Building Permit for free zones authorities projects only/ work order letter for infrastructure projects or if there is no permit.

Applications submitted by the contractor on behalf of the owner (for private villas and citizens only):

How to apply for sand supply in Dubai?

(Submitting projects).

• Login to Dubai Building Permits System - Dubai BPS.

• Fill in the application's information and submit the required documents.

• Pay the due fees and submit the application.

• Follow you application for Scheduled visit time from Dubai Municipality engineer.

• Meet Dubai Municipality engineer in project site. 

• Receive Dubai Municipality's reply (Approved/Rejected) by SMS and through Dubai BPS System.

• Receive the details for supply site by SMS.

For Submission of the application by the contractor on behalf of the owner of private citizen villas projects

• Login to Dubai Building Permits System - Dubai BPS.

• Fill in the application's information and submit .

• Receive Dubai Municipality's reply (Approved/Rejected) by SMS and through Dubai BPS System

• Receive the details for supply site by SMS.

For Submitting from the owner for local’s private villas projects 

• Press on “apply now” and choose (create new sand supply).

• Fill your Emirates ID and contacting details data .

• Fill in the application information and submit .

• Receive Dubai Municipality's reply (Approved/Rejected) by SMS and through application.

• Sand Circulation Vouchers: UAE 10 per cubic meter
