This service enables you to obtain a preliminary approval or permit for construction site preparations, hoarding, piling and shoring.

Setting plan layout showing the details of the plot and surrounding plots.

Insurance letter as per Dubai Municipality requirement.
How to apply for a Site Preparation and Excavation Permit in Dubai?

Login to Dubai Building Permit System.
-
Apply for the service and upload the required documents.
-
Receive Dubai Municipality's reply through the website within 3 working days (Approved/Rejected/to be Amended or Completed).
-
Pay the due fees and receive the payment receipt through BPCS.

Receive the preliminary approval or the permit from BPS website.

Industrial and public facilities, and multi-story buildings (exceeding 7 floors): AED 150

Floor area ratio buildings: AED 250.

Shoring (all types of buildings): AED 500

Piling (all types of buildings): AED 500.
Knowledge and Innovation Fees: AED 20.

Terms and Conditions

The permit is valid for 6 months from its issuance date till the beginning of works.
