How to apply for a Temporary Winter Camp Permit in Dubai?

This service enable you to get a permit for a temporary winter camp for personal use only during the period from 1st of November to the end of April. As per the announcement prior to the temporary camping season.

Terms and Conditions to apply for a Temporary Winter Camp Permit in Dubai

• This service allocates a specific area for senior emirates and people of determination within the temporary winter camp site.

• Submitted applications receive preliminary approval within 2 working days. The building supervision section send them after that to the Dubai Police Headquarters for the security approval.

• You can follow up on your application, download the permit, extend its validity and receive a copy of it, through the Dubai Municipality website.

• The Temporary Winter Camp Permit is issued for family use only and cannot be lease or used by hotels or private companies.

• This permit doesn't allow you to use your camp for leasing or for any commercial activities.

• The camp's signboard must be returned when the permit expires.

• The submitted application will be cancelled automatically if the due fees were not paid within 3 working days from the approval date, or if you didn't fulfil the remarks of the returned incomplete application within 3 working days.

• If you violated any of the permit's conditions, the permit will be cancelled, violations will be issued as per regulations.

• Camps must be reserved for a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 6 months (the entire period of winter camping season).

• Fences are allowed only if they were temporary.

• Dubai Municipality reserves the right to remove the camp if it didn't comply with the specified conditions.

• The permit is issued for Dubai's citizens only.

• You can apply for a double winter camp permit in the outer area only, by choosing 2 adjacent camps in the application form and combine them together.

• It is not allowed to change the demarcations or increase the camp area specified in the permit.

• You must remove the camp and back fill any hole and restore the surface of the land to its former condition within 1 week maximum from the permit expiration date.

• Failure to vacate the site and remove the camp after the permit's expiry may prevent you from applying for a winter camp permit in the future.

Documents required to apply for a Temporary Winter Camp Permit in Dubai

• Copy of the applicant’s passport.

• Copy of the applicant’s Family Book.

How to apply for a Temporary Winter Camp Permit in Dubai?

• Login to Dubai Municipality website.

• Apply for the service, fill in your personal data and upload the required documents.

• Receive Dubai Municipality's reply (Approved/Rejected/modify and complete the remarks) by SMS and Email.

• Pay the due fees.

• Receive the permit through the website.

Fees required to apply for a Temporary Winter Camp Permit in Dubai

• Issuance of Temporary Winter Camp Permit: 44 fils per sqm per week with a maximum area of 400 sqm for each camp

• Demarcation (for the Survey Department): AED 100 + AED 5 Local Fees

• Knowledge and Innovation Fees: AED 20 (for every payment voucher issued for the service).
