UP Free Education Scheme

This scheme has been started mainly for the economically weaker sections. Every child had the right to education. Through this scheme no student will have to face financial problems for education. The scheme was implemented on 1 April 2010.

Every year 25% seats are available to the students for admission under this scheme in UP. 

Benefits of UP Free Education Scheme

Under this scheme the students will get free education from KG to Graduation.

It will promote education among the students of the state.

It will help the citizens of the state to become independent.

The scheme has been for the students of Economic weaker section/ SC/ ST or OBC category.

Eligibility Criteria of UP Free Education Scheme

Following are the eligibility criteria of UP Free Education Scheme.

• The benefit of this scheme will be made available to the Economically Weaker Section [EWS].

• Only the citizens of Uttar Pradesh can apply for it.

• Age:6 to 24 years.

• Should be from SC/ST /O.B.C. category.

How to apply for UP Free Education Scheme?

Follow the below steps to apply for UP Free Education Scheme.

• Visit the official website to apply.

• Click on ‘New Application/Student Login’ on the home page.

• Select ‘New Student Registration’ on the next page.

• Then a form will open in front of you.

• Fill in all the details asked in this form.

• After filling in, you have to click on the submit.
