To solve the increasing unemployment in rural areas, to discourage the migration of rural educated unemployed youth to the cities, to provide maximum employment opportunities in the village itself and to establish industries under “One District One Product” scheme,

Along with innovative technology.,this scheme has been started Pt. Deendayal Gramodyog Rozgar Yojana has been structured with the aim of motivating individual entrepreneurs of rural areas of the state to strengthen their financial and economic status.

Under the scheme, the facility of interest subvention will be allowed to the units financed/established under the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Program sponsored by the District Industries Center, Khadi and Village Industries Commission and UP Khadi and Village Industries Board, respectively, in the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Program All rural units will be covered.

Benefits of Pt. DeenDayal Gramodyog Rojgar Yojna

Under the Deendayal Gramodyog Rozgar Yojana, the Uttar Pradesh government will provide loans ranging from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 25 lakh to the youth of the rural areas of the state.

Under this scheme, the state government aims to make the youth of the state self-reliant. This scheme will help reduce the rising unemployment in the state.

Eligibility Criteria of Pt. DeenDayal Gramodyog Rojgar Yojna

Following are the eligibility criteria of Pt. DeenDayal Gramodyog Rojgar Yojna.

• Permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.

• Loan Limit: Rs.5 lakh to Rs.25 lakh.

• Educational qualification: Minimum High school 

• Age: 18 years to 40 years. 

• Only the unemployed youth of rural areas will be given loans to start their own business.
