This scheme is similar to the Skill India mission. The purpose of Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission Scheme is also to brighten the future of the youth of the state.
Through this scheme, training is provided in the training centers to provide employment opportunities to the citizens of the state, so that they can get a good employment after being refined according to the demand.
Benefits of UP Skill Development Mission
Under the UP Skill development mission scheme, youth are trained in fashion designing, motor vehicles, computers, electronics, electricians, fashion designing, beautician, health care etc.
Under the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission Scheme, training is imparted in 283 courses of 34 sectors.
Along with English, computer education is also provided at all the centers.
UPSDM focusing its work in the state of Uttar Pradesh has given skill training option to the youth of the state who are not able to pursue education or any other skill.
Through UPSDM the training is imparted at a reasonable cost and at a reasonable distance from their residence. Such centers are also provided with the facility of professional counseling to help the youth make better career and skill training choices based on their interest and aptitude.
After the completion of the training program, the candidate is also provided with the Uttar Pradesh Skill Training Certificate.

Eligibility Criteria of UP Skill Development Mission
The age limit for getting training in any subject has been kept from 18 to 35 years.
Resident of Uttar Pradesh only.
How to apply online for UP Skill Development Mission?
Visit the UP Skill development mission website of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
On visiting the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission website, a page will open. Click on candidate registration there (You can open the website in Hindi or English also. For that you have to select the language)
On clicking the Candidate registration, an application form will open. Fill all the information asked in the form like Aadhaar card number, phone number name, E-mail address etc.
Upload your photo. Keep a soft copy of your photo with you.
After filling all the information, click on submit. After submitting the application, you will be given username and password.
Login by visiting the login section and after login the application is complete.
